چکیده

Abstract Porous cellulose nanofibril (CNF) foam was prepared by stabilizing bubbles with CNF and a surfactant then drying the stabilized wet in convection oven. The consistency of carboxymethylated (CMCNF) addition amount were controlled effects these factors on dry properties investigated. An adequate (0.02–0.04 wt%) CMCNF higher than 0.5 wt% yielded foams excellent stability. When dried at 60 °C an oven, over 97% porosity generated. stable resulted sphere-like pore structure low levels shrinkage during drying. In contrast, unstable generated severe large cavities. size determined shape degree drying, which, turn, affected mechanical strength. addition, compressive strength oven-dried 83% that freeze-dried foam. Therefore, preparation porous controlling essential for obtaining uniform good oven Graphic abstract

Influence of Different Foaming Conditions on the Mechanical, Physical, and Structural Properties of Polypropylene Foam

In this article, the effects of different foam production times and temperatures on the mechanical, physical, and structural properties of polypropylene (PP) foam has been investigated. The microcellular PP foams were carried out using supercritical carbon dioxide (sc-CO2) as a physical foaming agent in a batch process. The samples were placed in a pressure vessel and were saturated ...

Dry-Spun Neat Cellulose Nanofibril Filaments: Influence of Drying Temperature and Nanofibril Structure on Filament Properties

Cellulose nanofibrils (CNF) were spun into filaments directly from suspension without the aid of solvents. The influence of starting material properties and drying temperature on the properties of filaments produced from three different CNF suspensions was studied. Refiner-produced CNF was ground using a microgrinder at grinding times of 50 and 100 minutes. Filament spinning was performed using...

Strength and Water Interactions of Cellulose I Filaments Wet-Spun from Cellulose Nanofibril Hydrogels

Hydrogels comprising cellulose nanofibrils (CNF) were used in the synthesis of continuous filaments via wet-spinning. Hydrogel viscosity and spinnability, as well as orientation and strength of the spun filaments, were found to be strongly affected by the osmotic pressure as determined by CNF surface charge and solid fraction in the spinning dope. The tensile strength, Young's modulus and degre...

the effect of taftan pozzolan on the compressive strength of concrete in the environmental conditions of oman sea (chabahar port)

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
